About the Event

Join us on this walk as we seek out flowers in bloom and discover their insect partners and the fascinating and nuanced ways these species interact. Of particular focus will be the famous bees—the fluffy Bumblebees, as well as the most famous of all, the European Honeybee. On our hike, we will explore special natures of these six-footed creatures, including social behaviors and their ability to meet the energetic needs of their colony by collecting nectar and pollen.

This program is in partnership with Virtual Photo Walks and was funded in part by the Open Space Authority Urban Grant Program.

This is a free program provided by Saved By Nature a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
