About the Event

Join Saved By Nature for a guided 5.3 mile redwood canyon hike with 1,100 feet of gain along the cascades of Blackhawk Creek. You'll learn about redwood forests, hear a tale of a mountain lion encounter, and see california newt and banana slug habitat. Hiking poles may be advisable due to steep sections and moist ground; however, these trails do not tend to be very muddy and have tree cover, so they are a great choice in wet weather.
