About the Event
Join Saved By Nature naturalists, Richard Tejeda and Merav Vonshak, for a one-mile nature walk around the beautiful meadow at Rancho Canada del Oro Open Space Preserve. Richard will explain the natural and cultural history of oak trees while Merav locates and discusses the various types of galls found on associated oaks.
In addition, we'll look for rabbits, wildflowers, butterflies, blow humongous bubbles and have an Easter Egg Hunt! Each child will be given an Easter bag with gifts and a Saved By Nature reusable water bottle.
*This is a free event with free onsite parking coordinated by Saved By Nature and hosted by Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority.
