Virtual Photo Walks

COVID-19 UPDATE 04/04/20: Saved By Nature has opened Virtual Photo Walks to the entire community now that we are all isolated by the restrictions of COVID-19.

We partner with and help fund Virtual Photos Walks, a cause of Hospice Toronto. Together SBN has been bringing nature to those who are living with disability for over a year now.

Virtual Photo Walks' mission is to enable those who are immobilized by disability, illness or age to escape their isolation and re-engage with society virtually.

Those living with disability will learn to use video chat tools to virtually participate in Saved By Nature events and other events in selected locations around the world. Participants are encouraged to use their newly acquired skills to engage with family, friends and to efficiently interact with their caregivers.

Virtual Photo Walks is a free service adopted by Saved By Nature that uses smartphones and video conferencing to enable people isolated by illness or disability to experience nature in real time.

Our hope is through our efforts, we can make a difference in people's lives by helping them reap the benefits that nature has to offer. Fill out the form below if you'd like to be notified of our next virtual event.
