Virtual Photo Walks
Saved By Nature with the Virtual Photo Walks program brings nature to those who are living with disability.
Virtual Photo Walks' mission is to enable those who are immobilized by disability, illness or age to escape their isolation and re-engage with society virtually.
Those living with disability will learn to use video chat tools to virtually participate in Saved By Nature events and other events in selected locations around the world. Participants are encouraged to use their newly acquired skills to engage with family, friends and to efficiently interact with their caregivers.
Virtual Photo Walks program is a free service, a cause adopted by Saved By Nature that uses smartphones and video conferencing to enable people isolated by illness or disability to experience nature in real time.
Thanks to our technology partners and a group of dedicated virtual volunteer guides and naturalists locally and from all over the world, we're able to make the world bigger and brighter for our community of people with disabilities. Our hope is through our efforts, we can make a difference in people's lives by helping them reap the benefits that nature has to offer.
