A Creek's Culture & Nature
Time & Location
About the Event
What do Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, European, and Chinese all have in common? Kelley Park! But what really brought people here to settle in Santa Clara Valley? Water! Coyote Creek is the flowing pulse of nature that tied us all together.
Join Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful along with Saved By Nature and Virtual Photo Walks as we take you on a guided virtual stroll through 6 parks within a park. We will be featuring the Japanese Friendship (Koi) Garden, History San Jose, Heritage Orchard, Kelley Park Disc Golf Course, Coyote Creek and more! Did you know a critically endangered black and white ruffed lemur pup was born at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo just in time for Earth Day! Just another cool highlight within Kelley Park.
This event is sponsored by Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful a community partnership with Saved By Nature, Bioblitz.club and Virtual Photo Walks to bring you virtual nature from the safety and comfort of your home. Thank you to Santa Clara County Parks for making this event possible.
