About the Event

For Coastal Cleanup Day 2019 we're cleaning up the Guadalupe River, so that when it rains, trash along the banks or in the river doesn't flow to the Bay and eventually out to the Pacific Ocean where tides may deposit it onto coastlines.

All the supplies you need will be waiting for you at the site: trash and recycling bags, gloves, pickup sticks, sunblock, and water. Please bring a reusable water bottle and a hat.

(Optional) Pack a waste-free lunch!

Coastal Cleanup Day ends at noon at most locations, which makes for a great opportunity to have lunch at the river!
