About the Event

September is Coastal Cleanup Month! Join Saved By Nature Intern Luz Maria Marquez along the banks of Coyote Creek Saturday, September 18th 9am-Noon to help remove the trash and plastic pollution along our local waterway. 

In 2019, more than 74,000 volunteers picked up more than 900,000 pounds of trash from beaches and waterways throughout California.

Meeting Spot: Meet in the parking lot.

Time: 9:00AM – 12:00PM

Restrooms & Water: Restrooms are located available in the parking lot. Water will be provided by Saved By Nature.

Materials: Gloves, pickup sticks, trash bags, sunblock, bug repellant, hand sanitizer, water and light snack will be provided.

Recommended: Bring a lunch, water bottle, sturdy hiking shoes/boots, and a hat.
