About the Event

Join us along with our community partners Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (SCVAS) for a hike along the Heart’s Delight Trail to the Arrowhead Loop Trail. You’ll learn about Coyote Creek watershed, wildlife habitat & connectivity, and oaks as a food resource.

Observe powerful raptors such as golden eagles, northern harrier and learn more about the elusive burrowing owl from SCVAS!

Short stops will give you a chance to take in the scenic views on your way to the picnic benches for lunch. This is a moderate 1 mile out and back hike for a total of 2 miles. Binoculars will be provided.

Meet at the picnic tables near the parking lot and restroom.

Please bring a lunch, water, hat and/or sunscreen and be ready to have a good time!

Limited to 20 participants.

Become a member or make a donation to help sustain our free programming.
