About the Event

Various cultures have always relied on the land for food. Join us along with Teri Rogoway, Open Space Authority's educational programs coordinator, on a virtual nature hike on the Llagas Loop Trail for this educational celebration of the many cultural uses of plants and trees found right here in Santa Clara County.

Richard Tejeda trained with District Cultural Services Coordinator Dr. Beverly Ortiz from East Bay Regional Parks on traditional uses of California native plants.

This program is brought to you by Saved By Nature in partnership with Open Space Authority in an effort to bring you nature from the comfort and safety of your home.

A donation is suggested www.savedbynature.org/donate
