About the Event

Meep meep! Join us and our partners Open Space Authority at Coyote Ridge Open Space Preserve! This rarely hiked biome is rich in flora and fauna found no where else in the San Francisco Bay. It's part of a vast expansion known as The Diablo Range or The Devils Range. Home to not only roadrunners but humongous protected tule elk, pronghorn antelope, and American badger this preserve is only minutes from the bustling city of San Jose. We'd like to present to you serpentine grassland habitat and teach you what we know about the rare roadrunner's lifecycle and adaptations.

This preserve is currently closed to public access.

This program is brought to you by Saved By Nature in partnership with Open Space Authority in an effort to bring you nature from the comfort and safety of your home.

A donation is suggested www.savedbynature.org/donate.
