About the Event

Join Park Rangers Christopher Edwards and JR Earnest for an exploration of the steam powered Ocean Going Tug Hercules. Due to world events, and JR and Chris sheltering in place at their homes, this program will be a slide presentation using both modern and historic images. It will explore both topside and below deck areas and showcase technology of the first decade of the twentieth century, the adventures of ocean voyaging, and how both shaped the experiences of the tug’s crew.

This event is made possible by Saved By Nature and Virtual Photo Walks a community partnership to bring you virtual nature from the safety and comfort of your home.
