
Community Nature Hikes
Thanks to our generous sponsor like Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, grantor Parks California and individual donors like you, we are happy to bring you our public hike series that explores hidden gems along the California Coast, Santa Cruz Mountains, and San Francisco Bay!
Experience nature in a deeper, more meaningful way with our guided naturalist hikes, designed to foster self-discovery, mindfulness, and community. Held on the first Saturday of every month, these immersive journeys provide an opportunity to connect with the outdoors while enjoying lunch and snacks along the way.

⚠️ Important Safety Notice Before Signing Up: Community Nature Hikes vary in terrain and difficulty, with some routes featuring mileage, elevation gain, uneven ground, and potential heat. We encourage all participants to carefully consider their comfort level and abilities before joining. For seniors aged 55 and up, our Seniors Hike for Health program offers a safer, more supportive outdoor experience, with gentle terrain, shaded trails, ample hydration, and scheduled rest breaks to prioritize comfort and well-being. Don’t worry—any Community Nature Hikes that fall within the guidelines for safe senior hiking will also be sent to the Seniors Hike for Health email list.
